Most people spend their time with entertainment than
read books. But they forgot about advantage of reading the books. Reading the
books is really important because when you read the books, you will get
knowledge, factual event, fictional event, or imagination. There are a lot of
types of books such as books talk about horror, thriller, suspense, crime and
romance, experience, knowledge, leadership, or entertainment.
According to
studying say that reading books will make us smarter than before. Also reading
books can increase our fluid intelligence from day to day. But how can we
create habits to read the books? On this article, I will share about how to
create habits to read the books.
1- Set schedule
of time everyday for reading
Indeed, in
our live is very busy with other task full day. So it is very difficult to find
free time to read the books. But if you wish to want develop your capacity; you
should set aside some time every day for reading your books. It does not take
time too long for reading. You just spend time between 15 minutes to 1 hour is
very perfect for reading with books that you are favorite to get developing. You
can set time to read on the morning, before work, or in the evening before go
to bed.
2- Should create a reading list
Creating a
reading list is a one of many habits that you need to practice to create habit
read the books everyday. You need to write about list name of the books which
you need to read with a specific period such as a month or a year. If you
interest name of authors, you can include their name on your list. You should
try to read the books follow by your list with the specific period so it can
help you to create and maintain a habit of reading daily.
3- Try to cut
down other entertainment
According to
modern technology created everyday, most people spender their time with other
entertainment such as watch TV, play game, play internet, and play social media
etc. One by one, they ignored with their books from day to day. So if you want
to develop your capacity, you should change your habit from playing with other
entertainment to read the books. It means that before you spend time 1 hour to
play social media, so you should to change this 1 hour to read the books to
increase more of your capacity.
